Recently I picked up my old brushes to work with oil paints - something I haven't had the opportunity to do in years. Inspired by my surrounds at the studio at Banbury Place, I carried at large 5'x6' canvas outside to have some fun! I like to work fast and keep the image loose - preferring to break a sweat and acting on first instinct. Often my primary focus is color and texture rather than capturing a photo-realistic rendition.
