SCBWI Wisc. Fall Conference 2012

I took in the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators annual conference the weekend of Oct. 19-21 in Racine, Wisc. They hosted many great talents including George Shannon, Michael Kress-Russick, and many others! Anyone interested in writing or illustrating for the children's market should consider joining this great network. During the conference I received great feedback during my portfolio critique by Kristen Nobles the Art Director at Candlewick Press, as well as joining an ongoing critique group.
