2013 is the Year of the Water Snake according to the Chinese Zodiac. The Year of the Snake starts Feb. 10, 2013 (the Lunar New Year) and lasts to Jan. 30, 2014.
Born in 1977, the Snake is therefor my Chinese Zodiac. I was inspired to replicate the winding curvature of the snake out of corrugated material. Painted in hues of blue acrylic, this piece is clear coated with a glossy finish to give the impression of water.
